It’s a slow Tuesday for direct cash cattle trade activity.  Bids and asking prices are slow to surface.  Showlists this week are mixed – higher in Kansas, somewhat lower in Nebraska/Colorado, and lower in Texas.  It’s likely significant trade volume is going to hold out until sometime midweek or later. There were a handful of deals reported in parts of Iowa at $185 live, but that’s not certainly enough business to establish an accurate price trend.
