The vice president of Minnesota Farm Bureau is frustrated by the lack of progress on a new farm bill.

Carolyn Olson says the process is at a standstill until the U.S. House approves a new Speaker.

“We had hoped that there would be a farm bill done by the end of the year, and we’re hoping that can still happen. But you know, we’re starting to worry a little bit.”

She tells Brownfield lawmakers cannot allow key farm bill programs to expire at the end of the year.
