Harvest has wrapped up for a pair of South Central Nebraska farmers who say their yields were extremely variable.

Mike Bergen tells Brownfield, “It seemed like it was a little on the quick side between the hail that came late July and the drought, the D4 drought that Hamilton County was in. We had a significant reduction on handle. So it seemed like the acres piled up pretty fast.”

He says irrigated crops mostly met his expectations.
