The ranking member of the Senate Ag Appropriations Subcommittee says he’s optimistic three appropriations bills will advance this week in the Senate.

U.S. Senator John Hoeven from North Dakota tells Brownfield the first trio of bills expected to be voted on include transportation, veteran’s affairs and agriculture appropriations. When it comes to funding the USDA and Food and Drug Administration, he says there’s a few differences in the Senate’s version of the bill compared to the House.
