The Vice-President of Farm Services with NAU Country Insurance says farmers with revenue protection for corn and sorghum have a good chance for a payment this year.

Rich Morrison tells Brownfield harvest prices, a portion of the formula used to calculate revenue protection insurance, were finalized at the end of October.

“Corn went from $5.91 back in the spring to $4.88 in the fall. That’s a $1.03 difference or a 17.4% decline,” he says.
