After a few days with lower prices, milk futures were mostly higher and the cash dairy markets were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.   

November Class III milk was up $0.09 at $17.15.  December was up $0.26 at $17.13.  January was up $0.18 at $17.22.  February was down $0.02 at $17.54.  March through September contracts ranged from eleven cents lower in September to four cents higher in June.   

Dry whey was up $0.0075 at $0.3925. Two sales were recorded at $0.39. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were down $0.0675 at $1.63.  Four sales were recorded, ranging from $1.6275 to $1.68. 

Cheese barrels were up $0.0750 at $1.62.  No sales were recorded. 

Butter was down $0.10 at $2.7975 for a two-day drop of over 21 cents.  Two sales were recorded at $2.80 and $2.81. 

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.01 at $1.18.  No sales were recorded.
