Many farmers finishing up fall fieldwork are shifting their focus to 2024.

Southwest Minnesota corn and soybean grower Chris Hill is looking at crop input prices for next year and says some products have become more affordable.

“It looks like fertilizer prices are going to be down a little bit, the seed prices are going to hold steady (depending) on what kind of traits you want to put with your seed.”

He tells Brownfield corn rootworm is a problem in his area.
