Chicago Mercantile Exchange live cattle futures were mixed, consolidating after a wide-ranging week. Feeders were up on the lower move in corn. December live was down $.17 at $174.17 and February was up $.17 at $174.65. January feeders were $1.50 higher at $226.42 and March was up $1.37 at $228.62.

Direct cash cattle trade had a few bids on the table on Friday in parts of Nebraska at $180 on a live basis and $287 dressed.
