A low-pressure system moving northward near the Atlantic Seaboard will graze coastal areas through Saturday, with only minor additional impacts. Meanwhile, a weak cold front will sweep eastward, eventually merging with the coastal low pressure system east of New England. Farther west, a new Pacific storm system will arrive along the West Coast late Saturday or early Sunday, bearing rain and high-elevation snow. By early next week, that weather system will translate eastward, reaching the central and southern Plains.
