U.S. beef and pork exports have been on the rise to Colombia.
Grant Menke, Deputy Secretary with the Iowa Department of Agriculture, says that was confirmed during a recent trade mission to the country. “We were able to see U.S. beef and pork promoted and sold in grocery stores in meat markets, in restaurants, and it was exciting to see the ways in which those products were promoted and utilized.”
He tells Brownfield Colombia has become a top 10 export destination for Iowa pork and beef.
