Milk futures and the cash dairy markets were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.   

January Class III milk was up $0.03 at $15.62.  February was down $0.04 at $15.75.  March was down $0.02 at $16.48.  April was unchanged at $17.31.  May through December contracts ranged from five cents lower in August to six cents higher in May. 

Dry whey was down $0.0050 at $0.39.  No sales were recorded. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0025 at $1.4550.  Four sales were recorded, ranging from $1.4525 to $1.4625. 

Cheese barrels were up $0.0050 at $1.41.  Eleven sales were recorded, ranging from $1.41 to $1.42. 

Butter was up $0.0575 at $2.6050.  Five sales were recorded, ranging from $2.60 to $2.61. 

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.01 at $1.16.  Seven sales were recorded, ranging from $1.1550 to $1.16.
