Soybean fell on Tuesday as the market reacted to the weather forecast for South America. January beans closed at $13.12 and ½, Parts of central and northern Brazil are expected to receive beneficial rains, moving the region back to a more normal rainy season in January. While a record crop is likely off the table for Brazil, it’s still better than average and the Argentine crop is expected to grow. That should give U.S. soybeans plenty of competition moving forward.
