There’s been a handful of direct cash cattle deals reported.  Dressed deals in Nebraska are marked at $271 that‘s $3 above the prior week’s weighted averages.  Bids have surfaced at $170 live, but those are well below the current asking prices of $173 to $175 live in the South and $272-plus dressed in the North.  For the week, dressed deals have been marked at $268 to $272, mostly $270 $2 higher than the previous weeks’ weighted averages.
