Direct cash cattle trade activity is quiet, which is typical for a Monday.  Buyers and sellers are preparing for the upcoming week.  All eyes are also on the weather system moving through the country.  Look for significant trade volume to hold out until at least midweek or later.  A quick summary of last week’s business, there was light trade in the North on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday with most deals marked at $275 dressed, $2 higher than the prior week’s weighted averages.
