An agricultural meteorologist says a powerful winter storm is moving through the central United States in the next 48 hours and there will be some livestock stress across the Midwest.
Drew Lerner with World Weather Incorporated tells Brownfield “these areas getting heavy snow not only have to deal with not only the snow possibly causing animals to fall, but the windchill and blowing snow that could cause some breathing problems for any animal on the ground.”
Lerner says the snowstorm will stretch from Iowa and Missouri into Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana and Ohio.
