Across the Corn Belt, cold, breezy, dry weather prevails. Snow from last week’s storms blankets much of the Midwest, although coverage in the Ohio Valley is patchy. Along an axis from Nebraska to Michigan, some locations still have more than a foot of snow on the ground, leading to ongoing challenges in caring for livestock. Wednesday morning’s temperatures fell below 10°F in nearly all parts of the Corn Belt, with many sub-zero readings noted in the upper Midwest.
