Milk futures and the cash dairy markets were mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. 

February Class III milk was up $0.20 at $16.06.  March was up $0.38 at $16.53.  April was up $0.29 at $16.86.  May was up $0.12 at $17.25.  

June through December contracts ranged from six cents higher in October to seventeen cents higher in June.  Friday’s trade volume was estimated at just over twenty-three hundred contracts. 

Dry whey remains unchanged at $0.4425.  No sales were recorded. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0.0150 at $1.5375.  Eleven sales were recorded, ranging from $1.5225 to $1.5375. 

Cheese barrels were up $0.03 at $1.47.  Nine sales were recorded, ranging from $1.45 to $1.47. 

Butter was up $0.0725 at $2.76.  Two sales were recorded at $2.75 and $2.76. 

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0175 at $1.22.  Six sales were recorded, ranging from $1.2050 to $1.22.
