Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were higher Thursday supported by strength in cash cheese markets and a lower dollar.

February Class III milk was up 22 cents at $16.32. March 61 cents higher at $17.52. April up 56 cents at $17.76. May 42 cents higher at $18.05. June through August contracts 24 to 36 cents higher.

Dry whey up $0.0325 at $0.5025.

Blocks up $0.0175 at $1.6675.
