The unusually warm winter is impacting the movement of crops to market.
Josh Gackle is a south-central North Dakota farmer and President of the American Soybean Association. He says, “Yeah, there’s still frost that’s still in the ground but you know, we’re actually getting some load restrictions put on in certain parts of the state already which is really unusual. That’s about a month ahead of time.”
Gackle says the early road weight restrictions are having an impact on his and other farming operations.
