Active weather will continue in the West, with additional flooding possible as heavy precipitation gradually shifts from southern California into the Desert Southwest. More broadly, precipitation of varying intensity will affect nearly all areas from the Pacific Coast to the Rockies, with rain and snow showers finally ending in much of the West by Friday. Additionally, wet snow should blanket the north-central U.S. during the mid- to late-week period, with some of the highest totals expected in Montana and North Dakota.
