The last of USDA’s Emergency Relief Program funding is being sent to producers who experienced natural disasters in 2020 and 2021.
Farm Service Agency Administrator Zach Ducheneaux says the $306 million in remaining payments will be given based on crop insurance indemnities.
Phase One of the program in 2022 distributed $7.5 billion to producers impacted by wildfires, droughts, hurricanes, winter storms, and other disasters.
Enrollment for disasters covered in 2022 remains ongoing.
