Clean Fuels Alliance America has set a number of policy priorities for 2024.
Kurt Kovarik, vice president of federal affairs, says the organization’s top focus will be the implementation of clean energy tax incentives that were included in the Inflation Reduction Act.
“Namely the blenders tax credit for sustainable aviation fuel that has yet to be implemented,” he said. “The Treasury put out some guidance back in December of 2023. We’ve got new modeling to score carbon intensity to help understand how that tax incentive is going to work.
