A soybean farmer from central Kansas says now is the time to pass a new farm bill.

“We really can’t wait for the elections. We need to get this resolved before we get there.”

Charles Atkinson, a director with the American Soybean Association, says soybean growers still want to see updates in the bill, including tweaks to crop insurance.
