There’s a solid round of direct cash cattle trade underway.  Live deals in the South are at $186, $1 higher than the previous week’s business.  Deals in Nebraska are at $298 dressed, below most of Thursday’s business, but still $4 higher than the previous week’s weighted averages.  Live deals in Nebraska are at $187 to $188.  Asking prices are firm for what’s left on showlists at $187-plus live in the South and $300 dressed in the North.
