USDA says natural cheese stocks in refrigerated warehouses at the end of last month were up slightly from the previous month and up 2 percent from February 29, 2023.
The total American-style cheeses in cold storage at the end of February was seven million fewer pounds than the previous month, but 23 million more pounds than February 2023.
There were about a million more pounds of Swiss cheese in storage at the end of February than the previous month, but about 1.6 million fewer pounds than a year ago.
