Could farmers see rain the next seven Sundays? A climatologist says maybe.
Much of the Midwest saw rain on Easter Sunday, and according to the old wive’s tale that means it’ll rain the next seven Sundays.
Climatologist Eric Snodgrass, at Nutrien Ag Solutions, says there’s some truth to it…
“If you think about it, the typical cadence of low-pressure systems in spring is about one a week.” He says, “So, if you happen to get the one that comes over on Easter, well guess what?
