A Michigan farmer says there hasn’t been any frost in the ground over the winter.
Thumb-area’s Carla Schultz tells Brownfield the record warm weather leaves a lot of unknowns.
“This is kind of an anomaly,” she says. “We normally have some type of frost in the ground. I’ll be curious to see if certain diseases or insects were not killed off like they usually have been in the past.”
She says her wheat crop at the moment looks really good.
