Missouri farmers continue to plant rice, soybeans and corn.
USDA says 7% of the corn is planted, slightly ahead of the previous year. Rice is 14% planted and soybeans are 3% planted, both significantly ahead of the previous year.
2% of the winter wheat is headed with conditions rated 76% good to excellent.
Pasture conditions are rated 48% good to excellent with hay and roughages at 68% adequate.
