A farmer in southeastern South Dakota says the weekend rains were good for the winter wheat.
Chet Edinger tells Brownfield the half inch of rain will give the wheat a good drink as it comes out of dormancy.
“It looks good right now. Last year, we lost a lot of our wheat due the drought and this year, it’s looking like it’s going to be good unless we get a freak weather event.
