An Ohio farmer says he’s about 10 days away from planting.
Ray Van Horn tells Brownfield soybeans will be the first seed to get in the ground.
“That April 20th is probably a week or so sooner than we get running a lot of years, but that’s just the date we kind of shoot for to try to get rolling,” he says.
Van Horn says a three-inch rain last week replenished dry areas and conditions look great.
