A member of the House Agriculture Committee expects movement on the farm bill in the coming weeks.
Iowa Republican Randy Feenstra says he has full confidence in chair GT Thompson.
“We’re waiting for that CBO score on how much this bill is going to cost. We were hoping to have that in March, that didn’t happen. So we’re hoping that mid-April we can get this to the committee and get it passed through the committee, and then obviously onto the Floor maybe in May.”
He tells Brownfield the bill has to be bipartisan.
