A pair of Iowa farmers say planting progress should pick up steam next week.
Lee Brooke raises corn, soybeans, cattle, and hogs near Clarinda in Page County. “We are dry,” Brooke said. “We have had some moisture here in the last few weeks, so we do have some tile lines running. Our grass is growing some, but we’re still a ways short (on moisture).”
