Milk futures were higher and the cash dairy market was mixed Monday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April Class III milk was up $0.04 at $15.45. May was up $0.45 at $16.84. June was up $0.45 at $17.22. July was up $0.38 at $17.79.
August through November contracts ranged from six cents higher in October and November to twenty-five cents higher in August.
Dry whey was unchanged at $0.36. Nine sales were recorded, ranging from $0.3575 to $0.36.
Forty-pound cheese blocks were up $0325 at $1.5675. Two sales were recorded at $1.5450 and $1.5675.
Cheese barrels were unchanged at $1.5725. One sale was recorded at that price.
Butter was unchanged at $2.92. No sales were recorded.
Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0075 at $1.1350. One sale was recorded at that price.
