The Missouri State FFA Star Farmer says he’s learned a few lessons operating a small dairy in northern Missouri.

Cade Claycomb from the Trenton FFA tells Brownfield one of the biggest lessons was out how to market milk from his herd of 80 jersey cows.

“We have about 5 dairies in my county and having support is a struggle sometimes.”

Claycomb says he joined the Dairy Farmers of America and the cooperative helps him market the fluid milk to Hiland Dairy Foods.
