ADM has donated $1 million to Kansas State University to help support advancements in food product development, safety, and security.

The University says the funds will be distributed to its Global Center for Grain and Food Innovation, one of four new or renovated facilities included in the university’s visionary Agriculture Innovation Initiative led by the College of Agriculture.

Ernie Minton, Eldon Gideon dean of the College of Agriculture and director of K-State Research and Extension, praised ADM’s investment and said, “The College of Agriculture is consistently ranked as one of the top 10 higher education ag programs in the nation, and this donation will help ensure we remain at the top in educating students, leading in research and helping our partners feed a hungry world.”

KSU says the upgrades and expansions will support grain, food, animal and agronomy research, as well as resilience in the colleges of Agriculture, Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, Health and Human Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine.
