Unlike many farmers in Indiana, Matthew Chapman has all of his crops planted.
Chapman, who farms with his brother east of Indianapolis says they finished the first week of May.
“We had warmer weather there at the end of April, which accelerated our growing season and a really above average start here in Henry county,” he said. “A lot of our friends in Northern Indiana and down towards Evansville have struggled to get started.”
He tells Brownfield weed control has been a challenge.
