Direct cash cattle trade activity remains relatively quiet.  Just a handful of deals reported in at $185 live in Texas, that is $1 higher than the prior week’s business.  The only other bid to have surfaced is in Kansas, at $184 to $184.50.  Asking prices are around $186 to $187 live in the South, while the North has been quiet.  So far this week there has only been a handful of deals, and those came in late Monday.
