The U.S. and Mexico continue to spar over Mexico’s ban on genetically engineered white corn.
Courtney Kingery, CEO of the Indiana Soybean Alliance, Indiana Corn Marketing Council, and Indiana Corn Growers, says she had the opportunity to discuss the ban with Mexico’s Secretary of the Economy during a recent trade mission with Indiana’s governor. “She said that the Mexican government continues to value agricultural trade and continues to value US corn supplies into Mexico,” she says.
