The chief counsel at the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association says for the first time in a long time, there’s a light at the end of the regulatory tunnel for the Waters of the United States rule.
Mary – Thomas Hart tells Brownfield the definition of WOTUS changed last year.
“WOTUS is only traditional navigable waters and relatively permanent waters with a continuous surface connection to those traditional navigable waters. It means a lot of things we’ve fought over for the past 30 to 50 years are no longer federally jurisdictional.”
