A Michigan grower says soils have been slow to warm up for planting in her region.
Sanilac County’s Darcy Lipskey farms with her family about 12 miles from Lake Huron.
“Things just don’t warm up over here like they do in other parts of the state as fast, just because we don’t have an east wind, we have a north wind and it just stays cold for a long time,” she shares.
