The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) says large equipment sales figures from April indicates long-term optimism for the ag industry.
Curt Blades, senior vice president at AEM, says U.S. sales of large tractors were up substantially over 2023.
“Those are big tractors.” He says, “You don’t buy an articulated 4-wheel-drive tractor on a whim because it’s a pretty solid investment, both in dollars and then needing the acres to support it.
