Planting progress has been slow in Ohio.
AgReliant Genetics agronomy division manager John Brien says steady rains have kept farmers in his area out of the field.
“We’ve had consistent rain throughout the month of May. Nice little window in April for some people, some people, no window at all,” he said. “They just have been very consistent. We would get two nice days of drying and then it would rain.”
He tells Brownfield farmers shouldn’t make any drastic changes to their planting intentions – yet.
