The senior vice president of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers says he’s not concerned about recent industry layoffs.

Curt Blades tells Brownfield it is cyclical.

“The manufacturers are really doing a nice job of preparing for what the market’s going to look like in the next couple of years, anticipating perhaps some slowdown in the overall ag economy,” he says.

Blades says manufacturers are trying to avoid repeating prior mistakes.
