A cattle industry expert says the industry continues to improve and evolve.

CattleFax CEO Randy Blach says the shift in mindset from the nation’s cattle and beef industry has elevated beef demand. “That quality improvement that we’ve seen across the industry is responsible for nearly all of the demand growth,” he says.   

He tells Brownfield a little more than 20 years ago just about 50 percent of the beef produced in this country graded choice and prime.
