Missouri farmers are wrapping up corn and soybean planting in-between the spring storms and rains.

In northeast Missouri, Drew Lock says some fields had to be replanted, but the crops are emerging well.

“We have a potential great start to the year. We’ll see what Mother Nature throws at us in the coming months, but right now, I think we have a lot of potential.”

In northwest Missouri, Joseph Frueh says corn and soybean planting is complete on his farm, but there are some uneven stands and a few local farmers are trying to finish planting.
