An LG Seeds Sales Agronomist says last winter’s mild temperatures allowed insects to overwinter better.

Alex Cox says the unusually high temperatures gave insects a head start.

“They’ve been able to have more life cycles because of the elevated temperatures and it’s been on and off dry and wet so they’ve had a pretty good environment to thrive,” he says.

He tells Brownfield his customers experienced insect issues that haven’t previously been a problem.
