For the Marshalltown boys wrestlers, it was Xayvion Anderson pacing the field as he wrapped up his championship bout at 165. It was a hard-fought final against Jaxon Miller of Carlisle, but the Bobcat phenom ultimately fell by a 5-4 decision. Anderson comes home 2nd at state for his weight class and was joined by Colby Cross (126) and Johan Gomez (190) who both finished outside the top 8, and Nicholas Wise who took down Ethan Sodergren of Ankeny Centennial with a pin in 1:55 to secure 7th place at the 138 weight class.
