Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for the likelihood of near- or below-normal temperatures across much of the North and Far West, while warmer-than-normal weather will cover the remainder of the country.  Meanwhile, wetter-than-normal conditions nearly nationwide should contrast with near- or below-normal rainfall on the southern Plains and environs.
