Today is the day, the beginning of the long awaited Main Street, Streetscape project in Downtown Marshalltown. Starting today, Center Street will be closed from Church Street heading north to State Street. This WILL close off the intersection at Center and Main Street.

When able, the plan will be to add a gravel path across Center Street, near Brit Marie’s and Zamora’s Grocery. This closure of Center Street is expected to last until August.

Once this phase, is completed they will shift to phase 2, which is the 1 block heading east on Main Street in front of the Marshall County Courthouse.
