Wednesday at the regularly scheduled Marshall County Board of Supervisors meeting, Supervisor Jarrett Heil shared a presentation going over the county budget. He first shared information regarding the 2023-2024 audit review.

As for the current budget year of 2024-2025, Heil shared that the re-estimated budget was $42.2 million dollars and there was a debt reduction payment of $575 thousand with and no new debt added. He also added that there was collaboration from departments mid-year to amend the current year budget for better positioning for this year. He then concluded with what the 2025-2026 budget will look like.

The county board then approved the full budget with no further input from the public and will move forward into the new fiscal year.
